Lion Air fly to Malaysia

JAKARTA (JP): Lion Mentari Airlines, one of the country's newly operating regular flight operators will begin flights to Malaysia later this week.

The airline operator, which opened its Singapore routes last month, will fly to the Malaysian cities of Kuala Lumpur and Penang from Jakarta, Surabaya and Medan.

The airline said the daily Jakarta-Surbaya-Kuala Lumpur flights will start on Dec. 9 while the daily flights from Medan to Penang and from Medan to Kuala Lumpur will begin on Dec. 20.

The Kuala Lumpur-Surabaya route is currently being serviced by Malaysia Airlines (MAS).
