Links from Citra Garden 5

I am a resident of Citra Garden 5. Every day that I go to work I have to pass through Citra 3, Taman Suria and Taman Palem before reaching a slip road. I believe many other residents in Citra Garden 5 also follow the same route as I do.

From Citra Garden 5 there are two possible accesses to Citra Garden 3. One is near and directly opposite the main entrance of Citra Garden 5 but it is closed at present.

The other is located about 200 metres away where we have to pass a secondary school and a maternity hospital before we can reach it. Every morning except Saturday and Sunday that stretch of road is congested with school busses, motor vehicles and motor bikes; besides, the road is in bad condition, with many potholes.

To alleviate the congestion along that stretch of road and make it more convenient for the residents of Citra 5 to access Citra 3, I would appeal to the management to reopen the other entrance as well. I understand that the entrance was once opened but was closed again for security reasons. To overcome this problem may I suggest that:

1. Residents of Citra 5 be advised to register their motor vehicles with your security personnel.

2. A sticker/special pass be given to those who have registered their vehicles.

3. Only vehicles with a sticker/special pass be allowed to use this entrance.

I believe that another reason leading to the closure of the second entrance is the shortage of manpower and I agree that it would be quite costly to man and maintain two entrances at the same time.

To solve this problem may I also suggest that the gate be open at certain hours only, such as from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. By so doing the shops in the vicinity of the other entrance would also not be affected by this ruling.

I sincerely hope that the management will seriously look into this matter and reopen the gate soon.
