Lineup of original hits on offer
Disney Channel's new weekend morning show Studio D will also feature major Walt Disney original TV series, such as That's So Raven, The Proud Family, Fillmore!, and Lizzie McGuire.
* That's So Raven
A live-action situation comedy starring Raven Symone (of the Cosby Show), as Raven Baxter, a teenager who has the ability to glimpse the future. She is not exactly clairvoyant, but can see just enough of what is to come to compel her to try and change it, which often gets her into hot water.
The show also stars Orlando Brown and Anneliese van der Pol as Raven's best friends, and Kyle Orlando Massey as Raven's irksome kid brother.
* Lizzie McGuire
Mixing live action and animation, Lizzie McGuire, is a popular comedy series on the Disney channel.
Lizzie, played by Hilary Duff, is a 13-year-old girl with an animated counterpart who has no hesitation whatsoever in showing Lizzie's real feelings.
"The series is really all about that moment in time when kids are wondering what, how and who to become. We're taking one of the most formative periods in a person's life and comically examining the experiences -- good and bad, easy and difficult," executive producer of the series Stan Rogow said in a statement.
* Fillmore!
Designated as children's educational and informational programming, Fillmore is a cartoon series about school Safety Patrol Officer Cornelius Fillmore.
The show captures the essence of the 1970s cop shows in the guise of a smart, quick-witted, seventh grader out to stop crime in its school-age tracks.
* The Proud Family
Targeted towards kids aged six to 14, cartoon series The Proud Family follows the adventures of Penny Proud, a 14-year-old African American girl who is doing her best to navigate through the difficult, early teenage years.
Penny's quest to balance her home, school and social life are further complicated by friends like the sassy Dijonay, Penny's nemesis LaCienega Boulevardez, her over-protective parents Oscar and Trudy, and her hip-to-the-groove grandmother Suga Mama.
