Limited passenger bus

From Neraca

I am disappointed by public transportation in Jakarta, particularly the ordinary limited-passenger buses popularly known as Patas non-AC buses. Firstly, I feel that the fare increase is too high, particularly since the service has not improved. Secondly, the bus crew has very little concern for the safety of passengers. When a passenger wants to get off the bus, the driver never stops his bus, but just slows down, with the conductor shouting at the passenger to hurry up.

Unfortunately I am dependent on this bus for my daily trip to work. So I have no choice but to endure the hassle.

I hope the management of state-owned and private bus companies act on this matter. Better still, they should reclassify Patas buses as normal buses to reflect the reality.
