Light damage delays Wiranto visit

JAYAPURA, Papua: The lights of the Sentani National Airport landing strip went out on Wednesday, forcing presidential candidate Wiranto and his running mate Solahuddin Wahid to delay a visit to the country's easternmost province.

The pair were scheduled to arrive at the airport on Wednesday night. The delay disappointed supporters, but they can look forward to seeing Wiranto at Sentani on Thursday. -- Antara
