Lifters groomed for world c'ship

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Weightlifting, Powerlifting and
Bodybuilding Association (PABBSI) is training four female and two
male lifters for the World Weightlifting Championship in Athens,
Greece, in November.

PABBSI chairman Budi Santoso identified the six athletes as
Lisa Rumbewas, Winarni, Supeni, Sri Indriani, Taufik and Erwin
Abdullah.

He said the six lifters were currently training at three
separate centers -- in Lampung, Jakarta and South Kalimantan --
under the supervision of Imron Rosadi, Suri Endah Nasution and
Lukman, respectively.

"PABBSI has also agreed to send Lisa Rumbewas and Erwin
Abdullah from the South Kalimantan training center to train in
China ahead of the world championship," Budi was quoted by Antara
