Life gets worse

On June 27, 2001 I parked my car, with license plate number B2376ZU, within the "secure parking area" in front of the BNI 46 building. Between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. it was forcibly opened, damaging the locks on both front doors.

Two leather bags from the trunk were stolen, containing, among other things, a Toshiba notebook computer. The computer has to be unlocked first before it can be used by anyone. It is impossible to bypass this lock without using force.

The other bags contained personal files, which are of no interest to anyone except myself.

I wonder how something like this could happen in broad daylight, without anybody noticing or alerting security.

After living in Indonesia for seven years, I have the experience, not only from this incident, that life gets worse every day, in terms of negligence, mistrust, careless actions, theft, ignorance and disbelief.

I kindly ask anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of my belongings to contact me directly on 0812 802 3700. I would appreciate that very much.
