Letters on record

I feel encouraged to learn from the "Letters" column of July 31 that Mr. Sukardi has been included in the Museum of Records as the most productive letter writer in The Jakarta Post's "Your Letters" column, and encouraged not to break Mr. Sukardi's records some day, but to write more, expressing opinions. This award must be a kind of recognition for Mr. Sukardi, after all, being one among other record setters.

Mr. Sukardi said that this award should inspire him to continue writing. I think it should also encourage Mr. Sukardi's generation, older generation, to write as well as the younger generation. For the older generation, it will serve as a sharing of their experiences in life and the younger generation, more toward writing their opinions.

On this occasion, I would like to congratulate Mr. Sukardi for his spirit to share. Keep writing and I look forward to seeing more of your contributions.
