Let Albanian people decide

Certainly the European Community and neighbors of Albania are deeply concerned with the hopelessness of the Tirana government.

President Sali Berisha has lost his grassroots support as the Albanian people have taken control of the country since the collapse of the pyramid-get-rich schemes that robbed them of their life savings.

Even the military could not do much. The only way to save the country is to call a general election and let the people decide.

A national reconciliation is critical for this poorest nation in Europe.
