Leftovers at Sizzler's

I have been a patron of Sizzler's restaurant for the last three years. Last week I decided it was to be my last visit. I came early to one of Sizzler's restaurants in Jakarta (around 11 a.m.) to order two portions of salad for take away. After they gave me the container, I looked for the porridge, but I was quite surprised when I opened the lid that the pot was only a quarter full and the appearance was not good. Then I opened the soup pot next to the porridge, it was also less than half full.

I assumed it might be yesterday's leftover stock. How could an "all you can eat" restaurant only provide a limited stock for the whole day when in fact, I was the first guest (the restaurant had just opened when I came in.

I asked the nearest employee, and was told that it was the management's policy to reduce costs.
