Leaks in tests for subdistrict chiefs

TANGERANG (JP): The Tangerang administration is investigating
alleged leaks in the screening tests for candidates for the 50
subdistrict chief seats.

"We are conducting a thorough investigation, and we will
impose stern penalties on anyone found guilty," Tangerang Regent
Syaifullah Abdurachman said yesterday.

He said the selection committee also discovered that a
candidate had submitted a fake diploma.

The administration is holding a series of tests for the
selection of subdistrict chiefs in 50 subdistricts around the
regency. Hundreds of candidates have registered for the
