Leaders and environment

Brilliant! Just as my interest in reading the newspaper begins to wane, Bam! There again is a most beautiful tiger exotically decorating the front page of The Jakarta Post.

The continuing news stories regarding issues that are causing havoc to the environment and the natural world, are featured regularly in the Post, and are a tribute to the sincerity of the editor and his staff.

Equally admirable is their persistence in attempting to get the message across to as many people as possible just so we do not destroy too quickly everything we truly love and value.

May I state strongly that, "the nation's future leaders can and must show their true sincerity by proving they too share these very real concerns".
