I am most grateful to Mr. Frank Landsman from Bandung for replying to my previous letter of Nov. 1, 2000 to point out the printing error but more importantly to again bring to the attention of The Jakarta Post's readers the plight of the Israelis.
I only find it sad that he should find such amusement in doing so and to imply that the Israelis are now getting their Just desserts.
In Bandung I believe there are many types of desserts but most certainly no deserts, this could of course then have been a simple misunderstanding on Mr. Landsman's part had he not been so fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
Unfortunately in Israel there is scant opportunity to enjoy any type of dessert, desert or otherwise whilst the world looks on and criticizes.
