Landslide kills two girls

WONOSOBO, Central Java: A landslide in Larangan Kaliwiro
village buried alive two girls, seriously injured their mother
and a 70-year-old man last Friday, Antara reported Saturday.

Local officials said Saturday that those killed were a nine-
year-old elementary school student and her seven-year-old sister.

A bigger landslide hit the area last week, killing seven
villagers and injuring four. (aan)
