Land certificates to be handed over

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Agrarian Affairs/Chairman of the
National Land Agency Soni Harsono and Governor Surjadi Soedirdja
will hand over 3,000 land certificates to individuals and social
and religious institutions next Wednesday.

According to the head of the Jakarta office of the agency, H.
Sunar, the certificates include those for wakaf land which will
be given to various institutions in the five mayoralties, Soesilo
Darmoadji, the spokesman for the city administration said
yesterday.

Wakaf is property donated for religious or community use.

The handover will take place at the East Jakarta mayoralty
