Lambung Mangkurat offers 1,529 seats

BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: State-run Lambung Mangkurat University will accept 1,529 new students who pass the entrance test for the next academic year, significantly higher than the 1,081 admitted this year, Antara reported on Monday.

The university is adding four new undergraduate programs to bring the total programs to 35.

The university will also accept 663 students, who because of their above-average scores at high school or because they possess certain skills in sports or the arts, without having to take the entrance tests. These privileges are only available to students from Kalimantan. (04)
