LA cleans up

LOS ANGELES: It comes as no surprise to discover that Los Angeles, one of the United States' most polluted cities, has been chosen for the inaugural Automobiles and the Environment conference.

It will allow carmakers to showcase their newest environmental technology. The half-day conference will be held as part of the show's two media days on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.
