Kuwait deports more RI workers
JAKARTA: Another 150 Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) have been deported from oil-rich Kuwait, which imports many Indonesian workers.
Indonesian Ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Khalaf did not expound upon the reasons behind their expulsion, saying only that they were problematic.
On April 12, the same country deported 295 problematic Indonesian workers.
Mohammad also said Kuwait was still drafting a regulation on migrant workers to avoid similar deportations in future. -- Antara
