Kuta hucksters

On a recent holiday to Indonesia, during which we traveled all
over Java and to Bali by regular bus lines, we met numerous kind
and honest people who made this vacation an unforgettable
experience.

Our stay in Bali (Kuta) would have been more enjoyable if the
vendors were not as aggressive. Our friend, a European who speaks
fluent Bahasa Indonesia, was on more than one occasion ridiculed
when he dared object to the quite often obnoxious behavior.

A respite was the hotel swimming pool, where "they" could not
follow us.
