KPK interviews adviser candidates

JAKARTA: The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) interviewed on Monday a dozen candidates for its board of advisors, which will support the commission in carrying out its work.

Senior lawyer Nono Anwar Makarim and sociologist Imam B. Prasodjo were among the panel of five experts who interviewed the candidates, including lawyer Andi Hamzah, a former member of the Civil Servants Wealth Audit Commission.

As many as four of the candidates will be appointed to the KPK advisory board.

Most of the candidates were previously passed over for the KPK and the Anti-Corruption Court. -- JP
