JAKARTA: Founder and president director of pharmaceutical firm PT
Konimex, Djoenaedi Joesoef was inducted into the Ernst & Young's
2004 World Entrepreneur of the Year hall of fame on Saturday in
Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The E&Y award was presented to Djoenaedi for his achievement
to transform Konimex from a modest company with 70 employees to
become one of the largest and most technologically advanced
pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia. Now Konimex maintains a
3,500 workforce.

Djoenaedi was selected along with other 31 top entrepreneurs
from various countries across the world. -JP
