Komatsu to pay dividends
JAKARTA: PT Komatsu Indonesia, the largest construction equipment manufacturer in Southeast Asia, announced on Thursday it would pay dividends worth a total of Rp 19.2 billion (US$2.2 million), or Rp 50 per share.
The company, which is the local unit of Japanese construction manufacturer Komatsu Ltd., recorded an increase in its 2002/2003 sales to Rp 872 million from Rp 616 billion in 2001/2002
In the 2002/2003 fiscal year ending in March, the company sold 825 units of heavy equipment and 9,970 tons of components.
The company forecast flat sales for its 2003-2004 fiscal year. -- JP
