'King of Sex' on the loose

BANYUMAS, Central Java (JP): If you are wondering why you remain "powerless" although you have regularly popped foreign- brand drugs for your erectile dysfunction, police here are offering an answer.

It is possible that the pills you take are in fact made in Banyumas by a smart teacher named H. Zaenuddin. They are not made in England or in the U.S. as written on the packaging.

Zaenuddin, who is now the most wanted men in Banyumas after he escaped a recent police raid on his factory, has sold the drugs in major cities throughout Indonesia over the past five years.

To fool customers, he uses foreign names for the "sex drugs", as he loves to call the counterfeit products, such as Macho Man 7, Sex Power, Rogent and King Sex. Only one bears a local name: Macam-Macam Sex.

Banyumas Police chief Lt. Col. Isnandar said on Wednesday that all the tens of thousands of pills and tablets seized during the raid contained the same substance: wild ginger, locally called temu.

The detained employees of U.S. company Pfizer's local rival anti-impotence drug producer did not say if H. Zaenuddin also takes the pills he has made all these years.(45)
