Killing continues in Aceh

BANDA ACEH, Aceh: A member of the Dewantara Subdistrict
Military Command, Sgt. Maj. Muhammad Jai, and his wife were found
dead in Blang Panjang village in Muara Dua subdistrict, North
Aceh regency, on Thursday.

Military spokesman in Lhokseumawe Lt. Col. CHB Firdaus
confirmed the two deaths, saying that the bodies had gunshot
wounds and bruises, Antara reported.

The bodies of Muhammad Jai and his wife were found by locals
in Blang Panjang, about 274 kilometers east of the Aceh
provincial capital of Banda Aceh.

Muhammad Jai and his wife, whose name is not yet known, left
their house at Hagu village in Banda Sakti subdistrict,
Lhokseumawe, on the afternoon of Sept. 19. They had not returned
home since then. Their bodies were discovered on Thursday
morning.
