Key suspect stresses out

BOGOR: A key suspect in a counterfeit money case was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after he nearly fainted when being questioned by Bogor Police.

Anas Makruf, a retired army personnel who was arrested on Monday, was brought to Kramat Jati Police Hospital due to stress, said a police officer who refused to be named.

Police found Rp 49 million in counterfeit money in his possession. Anas also tipped off the police, enabling them to uncover nine other syndicate members along with Rp 5.48 billion in counterfeit money and its printer.--JP
