Kempinski enters Indonesia

JAKARTA (JP): PT Prima Adhitama International Development will soon launch a hotel-apartment in partnership with European hotel chain operator Kempinski.

Prima Adhitama director, Hendarto Rahardjo, said yesterday construction of the 36-floor building, called Kempinski Hotel & Apartment, would be finalized next month as scheduled.

The hotel-apartment is located in the MidPlaza business superblock on Jl. Sudirman.

"The concept of combining a hotel and apartment in one building is the first introduced in Indonesia," Hendarto said.

Prima Adhitama, a subsidiary of property company PT MidPlaza Prima, is the owner and developer of the building.

Hendarto said the 36-floor building would include a five-star hotel service from the first to 15th floor with 360 rooms and 254 apartment units from the 16th to 36th floor.

Buyers could lease their apartment units, or occupy them by themselves with room service provided by Kempinski, he said.

Apartment buyers can access Kempinski Hotel's service and facilities. (jsk)
