Kathikeyan wins Formula Asia race

JAKARTA (JP): India's Narain Kathikeyan emerged as the winner of the final round of the Formula Asia series at the Sentul circuit near Bogor.

Kathikeyan won the weekend race on points after completing the 13 laps with a total score of 198 points while Piers Hunniset of England was second with 179 points.

Seventeen foreign racers from eight countries took part in the two-day race on Saturday and Sunday. The Indonesian Formula Asia leg was the fifth in the series for the international and national categories. (lnt)
