KAI moves to better services

JAKARTA (JP): State railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) began a survey of passengers in Greater Jakarta on Wednesday in a bid to improve services.

Assisted by senior high school students, company employees distributed yellow forms to embarking passengers at all stops between Kota and Bogor stations.

The passengers were asked to answer questions regarding the company's services and hand in the forms at their destined stations.

"KAI has increased its fares, but up to now facilities both inside cars and stations remain far from convenient," one of the surveyed passengers told Antara. (amd)
