Kadin buys Menara-2000

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) has purchased the Menara-2000 building in South Jakarta through its newly established PT Menara Kadin Indonesia.

The chamber said it bought about 10,600 square meters, 11 stories, of the 32-story building on Jl. HR Rasuna Said in the city's commercial area of the golden triangle. The purchase entitles Kadin to change the building's name to Menara Kadin Indonesia.

The building will be used for the chamber's new office, as well as business meetings and retail offices.

PT Menara Kadin Indonesia is owned by 37 companies and people, including PT Dharmala Intiland, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa, PT Danamon Asuransi, and PT Great River International. (das)
