Ka for Brazil
SAO PAULO: The Ford Motor Co's Brazilian subsidiary will start assembling its subcompact Ka car by February.
The Ka will be assembled at the company's Sao Bernardo do Campo plant in Sao Paulo.
The company plans to assemble 60,000 Kas a year in Brazil.
It is the first subcompact to be produced in the country. Small cars in Brazil account for 70 percent of total car sales.
The Ka has been a sales hit in Europe and the U.K.
