Junior volleyball c'ships to begin

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Volleyball Association will hold
its national junior championships from Aug. 24 to Aug. 30 at the
Senayan Volleyball Hall.

Committee chairman Doddy Gautama said yesterday that eight
provincial teams -- those of East Java, West Java, Central Java,
Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Lampung, North Sulawesi and North Sumatra --
would participate in the annual event's boys' competition.

Teams from East Java, West Java, Central Java, Jakarta,
Yogyakarta, Lampung and South Sumatra will form the lineup for
the girls' competition. (yan)
