Judicial commission members selected

The House of Representatives selected on Wednesday night seven
members for a new judicial commission that will be involved in
reforming the judiciary and nominating Supreme Court justices and
the chief justice.

A member of the selection team, Akil Mochtar,
said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would appoint Mohammad
Musral Mukadas, Hattama Rasyid, Mustafa Abdullah, Irawadi Yunus,
Tahir Saimina, Zainal Arifin and Sukoco Saputro to the commission
after a House plenary session endorsed their selection next
Monday. The candidates went through a series of tests since
