JSX photo display

We are referring to the article published in the "Focus on
Jakarta" column of The Jakarta Post, Aug. 2, 1995 concerning
comments made by a number of artists represented by Adi Kurdi.

The committee of the Photo Exhibition of the 1995 Stock
Exchange wishes to give the following comments:

In organizing the exhibition, there was no intention of
insulting the national flag of our country. Our design did not
depict a national flag standing on its own but rather a
traditional banner in which the red and white colors were
arranged to form a unity, with the writing: 50 years Indonesia
and 18 years Jakarta Stock Exchange. This only displayed artistic
creativity. However, if there is any party which regarded it a
flag we would like to take this opportunity to apologize.

As a consequence, we discarded the red and white colors,
leaving only the blue color in the form of a trapezium with the
words Pameran foto (Photo display) written on it. The banner is
three meters high. We thank you for your attention and comments.
