NEW OFFICERS: Members of the Jakarta International Hotels
Association (JIHA) have elected George Benney (left), the general
manager of the Mandarin Oriental Jakarta as the association's new
chairman, replacing Kevin M. O'Hagan (right). During an annual
general meeting, which was held at Hotel Menara Peninsula,
Jakarta on Feb. 28, the association also elected Michael Price,
the general manager of the Kempinski Jakarta as vice chairman.
