Maluku separatist leader arrested: The local security authorities
said they arrested leader of the Maluku Sovereignty Front (FKM)
Alex Manuputty on Wednesday and confiscated poles for separatist
flags standing in front of his home. The arrest was made after
around one hour of negotiations with the suspect and other FKM
activists. Alex is currently being detained in the Maluku
provincial police office. -- JP
