LIFE IN A REFUGEE CAMP: A mother feeds her children in a refugee
camp in Blang Bladeh, Bireun regency. About 7,000 people in the
regency fled their homes last week and took refuge in schools or
mosques to avoid the possibility of gunfire between the
Indonesian Military (TNI) and Free Aceh Movement (GAM) rebels.
The government gave GAM until Monday to accept special autonomy
and disarm.
