FRESH ARRIVALS: Military officers from Thailand walk on the tarmac upon their arrival at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport in Banda Aceh, Aceh province. Eighteen Thai officers arrived in the troubled province on Tuesday to join the monitoring team of the Joint Security Committee to observe the truce signed on Dec. 9 by the government and the rebel Free Aceh Movement (GAM).
