Swedish government to stop its citizens from

instigating armed rebellion in Aceh.

The Swedish government refuses to take legal action

against Hassan di Tiro and others.

Megawati sends a delegation to Sweden to provide more

evidence over Hassan Tiro's alleged involvement in criminal activities in Aceh and several places

across the country.

Indonesian envoy Ali Alatas flies to Stockholm to

provide more evidence over the alleged involvement

of Hasan di Tiro in instigating armed rebellion in

Aceh.

The Swedish government admits that GAM leaders may

have been involved in series of crimes in Indonesia,

including orchestrating the armed rebellion in Aceh, and says

that the Swedish legal system allows its law enforcers

to prosecute them.

A joint team of Indonesian police and officials of the

foreign ministry leave for Sweden to provide

more data for Swedish prosecutors.
