* Jogja Great Sale offers discount of up to 70 percent at some 4,150 outlets including restaurants, hotels, and shops in Yogyakarta, until Oct. 19, 2003.

* Jalan Solo Fair features dangdut music performance held along Jl. Solo shopping centers, Oct. 11, 2003 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

* Jogja Tempo Doeloe exhibition presents various antique collections owned by -- among others -- Yogyakarta Palace, Pakualaman Principality, individual collectors, museums, and other institutions, held in Benteng Vredeburg Museum on Jl. Ahmad Yani until Oct. 7, 2003 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

* Lampion and Penjor decorative lamps festival at housing, stores and business centers across the city, until Oct. 7, 2003.

* Mass Preaching featuring noted Muslim preachers from Jakarta held at Yogyakarta Palace's Pagelaran Hall on Oct. 6, 2003 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
