Intro

The deaths of nine professional boxers over the past four years, two of them just one month apart, should be a wake up call for the country's boxing authorities. Without firm and strict policies on safety, boxers are putting their lives on the line once the bell rings. The Jakarta Post reporter Zakki Hakim writes a special report on the issue.
