Joop sworn in new staff

JAKARTA (JP): The Minister of Tourism, Post and
Telecommunications, Joop Ave, swore in 11 new officials at his
office yesterday including Tjetjep Suparman who replaced
Sugardjito as ministry spokesman.

Other officials installed were Harsono Taroepratjeka as chief
of the development of tourism, post and telecommunications
resources and technology division, Saksono Soedarso as secretary
of the Directorate General of Post and Telecommunications and
Soeradi as chief of radio frequency management division.

Maj. Gen. Rachmat H.S. Mokoginta, Daeng Iskandar and Udin
Saifuddin were installed as expert staff.

Joop, who now has four expert staff, also swore in Acep
Hidayat as chief of marketing and Luther Barrung as chief of
tourist facilities.

W.J. Pranoto, the former chief of the tourist office in
Yogyakarta, was installed as chief of tourist sites and affairs.
