maybe Eddy should employ a half way decent sales person to sell his bloody advertising. The one he has at the moment is terrible! unable to answer simple questions and follow up on promises made!

JP/JobsDB expands into growing online advertising sector
PT JobsDB Indonesia (JobsDB), an online job recruitment service provider, is diversifying its business into the country's expanding online advertising sector.
JobsDB managing director Eddy S. Tjahja said Friday that the country's online advertising business, which is expanding by between 40 percent and 60 percent a year, was quite promising for the company's future growth.
Eddy said that with its large number of members, JobsDB had a significant captive market on hand to facilitate its entry into the online advertising business.
According to Eddy him, the company, with about 13,000 corporate clients, had more than 800,000 members as of June this year. The number of members was expected to keep increasing by between 20 percent and 40 percent a year, he said.
``We are quite serious about this new business. For example, we have invested around Rp 4 billion on improving our hardware capability. We have also hired about 100 accounts executives nationwide to support the business,`` Eddy said.
He explained that his company had been soft-launching the new business for the last few months. Eddy said that several clients from multinational companies were satisfied with the responses they had received to the ads they had placed on the company website.
He said that the advertisement placed by Standard Ballpoint, a stationery company, had 4,113 hits within only two weeks. Meanwhile, PT Bayer Indonesia, who is famous for its leading multivitamin brand, Berocca, had received 277 responses to its ads on JobsDB in four weeks.
``We are happy with these preliminary results. We are hoping to gain around Rp 15 - 20 billion (around US$2.1 million) from online advertising next year," he said.
Hartaty Budiman, product manager of JobsDB, said that the most popular product was banner advertising, which could be placed on the front and inner pages.
She added that JobsDB could also promote products through e-mail marketing, both in the form of newsletters and job-alert e-mails.
Eddy said that companies advertising on the JobsDB website could reach a wide audience, not only at home but also overseas thanks to JobsDB's wide network throughout Asia-Pacific.
JobsDB Indonesia is part of JobsDB.com, the Hong Kong-based provider of online recruitment services in Asia Pacific, with a network coverage that spans Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the USA.
Also on Friday, Eddy said that his company aimed to provide 50,000 job placements in 2007 and 100,000 in 2008. He explained that JobsDB has provided around 48,000 job placements as of the end of August.(14)
