Jl. Jatibaru closed to traffic

JAKARTA (JP): Due to the construction work in progress,
Jl.Kebon Jati in the busy Tanah Abang area in Central Jakarta
would be closed to traffic for about three months starting from
Thursday.

City Land Transportation Agency head Buyung Atang said on
Thursday that the closure would be effective until Dec. 15.

All traffic, including city buses and taxis, heading to the
area would be redirected.

Motorists traveling on Jl. Jatibaru and heading toward the
Tanah Abang market or bus terminal are advised to take the U-turn
under the flyover next to the Tanah Abang railway station or take
the flyover.

Private cars traveling along Jl. K.S. Tubun would have to turn
into Jl. Jatibaru or use the road passing the Tanah Abang railway
