JICT's new shipping service

JAKARTA (JP): Port operator Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) announced on Monday a new ship providing service at its Jakarta container terminal.

The MV Sky Bright, owned by Taiwanese firm Cheng Lie Navigation Company, already operates a once weekly intra-Asian service from the terminal, the company said in a statement.

It said the 10,800 dead weight ton (dwt) vessel measuring 132 meters will be joined by two sister ships plying the JICT- Surabaya-Hong Kong-Kaoshiung-JITC route, calling at JICT fortnightly on Tuesdays. (jsk)
