Jasa Marga, ad agency summoned
JAKARTA: The Jakarta Police will summon witnesses from toll road operator PT Jasa Marga and advertising agency PT Rainbow Cipta Utama for questioning in their investigation of the illegal felling of over 200 mangrove trees in Kapuk, North Jakarta.
Witnesses from the two companies would be interviewed on April 22 and April 28, police said.
"We will also summon witnesses from the management of Pantai Indah Kapuk housing complex, close to the mangrove forest and workers at the North Jakarta office of the National Land Agency," city police spokesman Sr. Comr. Prasetyo said on Tuesday.
He said the police had already an idea who the suspects in the case were.
"We cannot reveal their identity yet," Prasetyo said.
As of Tuesday, police had questioned three witnesses in the case. -- JP
