Japanese lawmakers visit E. Kalimantan

SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan: A delegation of 10 Japanese
legislators visited the East Kalimantan provincial administration
on Wednesday, promising local officials they would help the local
government combat illegal logging in the province.

Toshikatsu Matsuoka, the head of the delegation, said the
legislators were seeking information as to those areas to which
they could contribute in the fight against illegal logging. -- JP
