Japanese dancers in local production

JAKARTA (JP): Dancers from Japan and Singapore are scheduled
to perform at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta next Saturday with local
dancers in a production by the Bimo Wiwohatmo dance group.

Bimo was a student of renown choreographer Bagong
Kussudiardjo.

Performances by the group, starting at 8 p.m., include acts
titled Bunga Malam (night flower), Lotus, Lover and Dream.

Tickets are from Rp 20,000 to Rp 25,000.

Meanwhile, on July 25 and July 26, Indonesian and Japanese
artists are scheduled to perform in a combined production. The
actors will present Joko Tarub, a local folk story, and Hagoromo
from Japan.

The play, which will start at 8 p.m., will be held at Taman
Ismail Marzuki Jakarta arts center. (anr)
