Japanese cultural expo at Summitmas
JAKARTA (JP): In an effort to promote Japanese culture in Indonesia, the Japan Foundation will hold a two-day exhibition on Japanese culture and language beginning next Friday.
The event at the Japan Foundation's office at Summitmas Tower building in South Jakarta will feature different skills and crafts inherent to the Japanese culture.
The exhibition will be opened to the public from 10 a.m. during the April 9 and April 10 expo.
Visitors will be invited to watch videos, including those on how to learn origami, or igo, a game similar to chess, and view the Japanese traditional Okinawa dance.
Additionally, there will be speaking contests among Indonesian members of the Japan Foundation.
