Janis new PGSI chairman
JAKARTA: Roy B. Janis, a co-chairman of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), was unanimously elected as the chairman of the Indonesian Wrestling Association (PGSI) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on Wednesday, according to Antara.
Roy, who is succeeding the outgoing former Attorney General Andi Ghalib, will run the association for the 2003-2007 term.
The chairman of the PDI-P faction at the House, Roy will lead a nine-person team mandated to establish the association's new board within one month. --JP
