Jakartan won W Cup draw
JAKARTA (JP): Out of 2.7 million entries in the Coca-Cola and RCTI's sponsored World Cup draw, Kikik Sumita, a Jakarta resident, won the first prize of a Rp 100 million (US$47,000) house in Lippo City, West Java here yesterday.
The final drawing, conducted in a ballroom at the Shangri-La Hotel, was carried out by representatives of the sponsors who randomly picked the lucky winners with their eyes covered.
The second prizes went to Selamet Sugiarto, a Semarang resident and Wasno Jatimulyo from Yogyakarta. Each of them won a Rp 25 million saving account.
The rest of yesterday's winners will be announced by the sponsors later in the month through advertisements in newspapers and T.V. broadcasts.
The entry for this drawing must include two bottle caps of softdrinks produced by Coca-Cola. Six winners from the first drawing, took place on July, won tickets to watch the World Cup final match. (hdj)
